Magnets and Motion

We've done a lot with magnets this week! I will put captioned under the pictures so you can tell what we were doing. :)

These kids are testing to see what is magnetic.
We discovered that things that have iron in them are magnetic!

This picture shows a big magnet bulling the two ball magnets closer to it.

We have also been studying Mo Willems. He is a WONDERFUL author and the kids think his books are soooo funny. His Knuffle Bunny books have the backgrounds as black and white photographs and the people are the only color. The kids made their own pages for where they would take their Knuffle Bunny!

Knuffle Bunny and I went to the white house.
We saw Barack Obama. We got to play in the water fountain.
We had so much fun. We saw his two kids and his wife and his dog.
He was nice. He bought us food.
His house is nice.

Knuffle Bunny and I went to the white house. We met Barack Obama
and his two kids and his wife. We heard his speech.

Knuffle Bunny and I went to my house.
We played with my truck.

We played Barbie.
We watched TV.
We watched Harry Potter.

Exploring how magnets attract and repel.

Showing how the big magnet was the strongest.

The big magnet is the strongest because it attracted the most
paper clips.
